About the artwork
This work is a journey straight to the heart of childhood, to that secret place where we are still small and everything seems possible. It is surrounded by happy, tender, protective soft toys: the gentle guardians of our earliest dreams. I wanted anyone looking at it to feel the same warmth we feel on entering a room full of memories that never betrayed us. But among all that innocence, she appears: a metallic, reflective, almost robotic figure. Her face is not there to occupy space, but to give it back. It is an emotional mirror. It is made so that viewers can see themselves in her, meet their own gaze and recognise that beneath every layer of adulthood there is still a young soul that never goes out. The gold in “FOREVER YOUNG” is no coincidence. I chose it because it is the material in which the most valuable promises are engraved, the most precious thing a human being can possess: their inner youth.
I am not speaking of years, but of essence. Of that sparkle that never ages. Of the part of us that keeps dreaming, finding inspiration, playing and imagining. This painting is a luminous reminder: however much you grow, within you there will always be a corner that remains forever young.
